Nir de Volff becomes choreographer of the new company FORWARD DANCE COMPANY Under the artistic project direction of Gustavo Fijalkow, where people with normative and non normative bodies work equally.

The first two creations WIR and JOY created by De Volff, premiered live on June 2021 at LOFFT theater Leipzig. FORWARD DANCE COMPANY is the first professional dance company working permanently in Saxony, in which dancers with normative and non-normative physicalities work together under professional conditions.

FORWARD DANCE COMPANY was established by LOFFT – DAS THEATER and the socio-cultural center DIE VILLA Leipzig. LOFFT has been promoting Leipzig's contemporary dance scene in the field of mixed- abilities for over 10 years.

The first in-house mixed-abled dance company at an independent production house is a pilot project for Saxony and all of Germany.
