What happens when Syrian dancers, who worked in their homeland at Tanzshows like "Aladin" and dance ballet and Dabke, meet the Israeli choreograph Nir de Volff and the contemporary Berlin dance scene?

Can a person erase the history of his body and start a new journey?

TOTAL BRUTAL shows the process of adaptation and artistic integration of refugees into the European (Berlin) art landscape. The focus of the project is on the physical hurdles of their daily lives, fears, disappointments, on their mental change and new encounters in the big city with text written by Nir de Volff.

"Come as you are # 2017“ is a physical and theatrical exploration of three male dancers, whose background is radically different from the Berlin scene and which have now arrived in this city and try to find their way into it. Their new impressions of the local cultic scene, their search for new identity, their cultural taboos, their hopes and daily experiences, which could quickly become nightmares, are constructing the layers of show.
